Love It or List It

Love It or List It stars designer Hilary Farr and realtor David Visentin. In every episode, a couple has to decide whether or not their current home is the right home for them, with the help of Hilary and David. To do so, they present Hilary with a list of things they would need to change in their current home, and David with a list of things that they would need in a new home. Hilary then would try to meet the couple’s requirements by redesigning their current home, while David would try to achieve the same by finding them the appropriate house on sale for them. Both Hilary and David are given a budget that they have to work with, as well as a list of demands that they must meet. David takes the homeowners on house tours, while Hilary, with the help of assistant designer Desta, renovates the couple’s house. At the end of the show, the renovated spaces are shown to the couple, and then they decide if they are going to Love It and stay at their current home, or List It and buy one of the houses that David presented them.
